The Bronx Documentary Center (BDC) is a non-profit gallery and educational space. Through exhibitions, screenings, and public programming, we show the work of internationally-renowned and emerging photographers and filmmakers who are dealing with the themes that guide the BDC: justice, education, community-building, and positive social change.

While the 4-year high school graduation rate in the South Bronx is only 69% and college enrollment is typically 35%, 100% of our students graduated on time this year and 90% have been accepted into and are attending colleges, including Stanford, Middlebury, Mount Holyoke, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Macaulay Honors College, Syracuse and Hunter.
