Professional photojournalists replaced by unknown... →
Citing the growing quality of viewers cellphone snaps and amateur video footage, CNN has laid off about a dozen staffers. It apparently matters not at all that the unpaid citizen-journalists are completely untrained in even the most rudimentary aspects of media ethics. Do we know what their agendas are or who they work for? Do they understand the very concept of objectivity?
