Join us this Friday, June 21, at 8pm for a group screening of the fourth cadre of Reporters Instructed in Saving Colleagues (RISC) trainees.   For one night only, see the work of a the world’s top independent journalists reporting from Syria, Mali, Afghanistan, Iraq, Haiti, Yemen, the DRC and more. Each presenter will share his or her work and answer questions from the audience.   Suggested Donation of $10 helps support RISC and the BDCChildren 17 and Under Free

Experiments in sculpture: Giving form to our ideas Monday, June 17, 2013 4-6 pm Celebrate the work of the students of Dia NYC’s Arts Education Program. The 7th graders of the Hostos-Lincoln Academy of Science in the S. Bronx, spent the last month working with teaching artist Kiran Chandra understanding artistic process and three-dimensional making and thinking through in-class workshops and visits to Dia:Beacon and the Hunter MFA thesis exhibition where they met with 6 artists, and to the Gramsci Monument where they will be meeting with Thomas Hirschhorn and Yasmil Raymond.
