March 7, 2014 | Bronx Documentary Center

Pioneering documentary photographer Donna Ferrato showed work from 30 years on the front lines of women’s justice issues to a capacity crowd at the Bronx Documentary Center this past Friday.

Donna and Stephanie Sinclair (whose Child Brides exhibit is at the BDC) met for the first time ever at this event.  It was an extremely emotional moment as Stephanie credited Donna with inspiring her to fight for womens’ and girls’ rights internationally while Donna does the same in the US.
