Our Hours—
The BDC galleries operate on a rotating exhibition schedule. Please check our current exhibitions before planning your visit. Admission is always free.
Exhibition Gallery Hours:
Thursday – Friday: 3–7 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 1–5 PM
BDC Labs (Annex) are open by appointment only:
Tuesdays: 10 AM – 4 PM
Thursdays: 4 PM – 9 PM
Saturdays: 11 AM – 4 PM

Hours
The Bronx Documentary Center (BDC) is a space dedicated to photography, film, and documentary arts that explore social issues. Located in the South Bronx, the BDC hosts exhibitions, screenings, panel discussions, and workshops led by photographers and filmmakers.
Getting to the Bronx Documentary Center
The Bronx Documentary Center (BDC) has two locations:
• Main Gallery: 614 Courtlandt Ave, Bronx, NY 10451
• Annex: 364 E. 151st St, Bronx, NY 10455 (directly across the street from the BDC)
Both locations are in the Melrose neighborhood of the South Bronx.
By Subway:
• 2 or 5 train to 3rd Ave – 149th St
– Walk west on E 149th St toward Courtlandt Ave (about 5 minutes).
– Turn left onto Courtlandt Ave—BDC is on the right.
• 4 train to 149th St – Grand Concourse
– Exit at E 149th St & Grand Concourse.
– Walk east on E 149th St toward Courtlandt Ave (about 7 minutes).
– Turn right onto Courtlandt Ave—BDC is on the right.
By Bus:
• Bx2 or Bx19 to E 149th St & Courtlandt Ave
– Walk a few steps to reach the BDC entrance.
• Bx1, Bx15, or Bx21 to Grand Concourse & E 149th St
– Walk east on E 149th St toward Courtlandt Ave (about 7 minutes).
By Car:
A public parking lot is located right next to the Bronx Documentary Center at 616 Courtlandt Avenue, Bronx, NY 10451.
