Fabio Bucciarelli: The Dream
On View: March 10 – 27, 2016
Bronx Documentary Center
614 Courtlandt Ave, Bronx, NY 10451
Fabio Bucciarelli has spent five years documenting the causes and consequences of the largest refugee migration since World War II.

This exhibition is curated by Cynthia River and Mike Kamber.
Spanish translations by Maria de la Paz Galindo.Â
This exhibition was made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature; and the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.
In The Dream, Bucciarelli tells the stories of those who have fled the wars in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and beyond. His photographs reveal the refugees’ humanity and shows the strength of people who are sustained by a dream to be free of war, to find safety, to recover their dignity and to once again build meaningful lives.
