How can a ZIP code determine a person’s future more than their genetic code? The documentary ZIP Code Matters explores the profound ways that ZIP codes affect access to education, transportation, wealth, and health outcomes. Through interviews with leading policymakers, nonprofit executives, public health officials, and social justice activists, the film uncovers systemic inequalities and inspires dialogue about solutions.

Join us for a screening of ZIP Code Matters, followed by a community discussion with the film’s writer and director, Sena Mourad Friedman, and Davon Russell, President of WHEDco (Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation).
