BDC Senior Photo League
The BDC Senior Photo League is a free photography program for older adults in the Bronx.
The BDC Senior Photo League is a free photography program for older adults in the Bronx. It enhances participants' photography skills while fostering social connections and community pride. Through weekly classes, assignments, and field trips to cultural sites like the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Wave Hill, the program offers meaningful experiences that boost a sense of belonging and quality of life.
We partner with Mitchell Neighborhood Senior Center, Kips Bay Castle Hill Senior Center, Highbridge Nelson Senior Center, and William Hodson Senior Center.
Special thanks to the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and City Council Members Diana Ayala, Fernando Cabrera, and Ruben Diaz, Sr., for their support. FujiFilm generously provides the equipment used in the program.
