For the last two years, the FotoEvidence Book Award has recognized the collaborative effort of 95 photographers who have covered the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the effects of the ongoing war. This year’s edition, Ukraine: Love+War, which focuses on the impact of the war on families and children, will be presented alongside Ukraine: A War Crime, published in 2023. The work of these photographers and the two publications featuring their work presents a searing record of the war in Ukraine and shows the essential role of photojournalists in recording history as it unfolds.

Join contributing photographers Natalie Keyssar, Sasha Maslov, Wolfgang Schwan and Timothy Fadek for a panel discussion moderated by book editor Sarah Leen at the BDC on Thursday, September 5, at 6:30 PM.
