"The Lobster Woman" (2024)

"The Lobster Woman," directed by Coline Chevrin and Pamela Y. Rozon, documents the daily life of Krista Tripp, a lobster boat captain and business owner in Rockland, Maine. The film highlights the demanding work required to run two businesses while raising her son.

"Upcycle" (2023)

"Upcycle," a short film by BDC Community Manager Maria de la Paz Galindo, follows Rockland, Maine artist Kim Bernard as she transforms plastic trash into sculptural installations using portable recycling machines, inspiring awareness about preserving natural resources.

"Sails of Freedom" (2023)

"Sails of Freedom", a film by long-time BDC volunteer Coline Chevrin, highlights The Apprenticeshop, an educational nonprofit in Rockland, Maine. The organization empowers individuals through the art and skill of boat building and sailing.

"Minerals of Life," filmed by Pamela Y. Rozon, follows Two Daughters Sea Salt Co., a small business in Rockland, Maine, that handcrafts sea salt from Penobscot Bay.

"The ‘Keag Store," filmed by long-time BDC publicist Myrtille Beauvert and BDC Youth Education Manager Ricardo J. Partida, highlights a 50-year-old beloved store in coastal Maine. This documentary captures the heart of the lobster community, where locals and tourists gather to shop, eat, and share stories.
